And we’re off to the art show!

Alright, I’ll admit it. I may have a fondness for abstract expressionism. To be even more specific, the color field paintings that came out of mid century America just might be my favorite movement within fine art altogether. I see it as this obnoxious final mic drop on an entire century of modern art. The late Barney Oldman is my take on artists such as Mark Rothko and (obviously) Barnett Newman, and as you’ll see very soon there’s much more going on within these paintings than just multiforms and zips.
